Hello! If you're here, you may coming from the Simple Stories blog, where I've finally shared a baby book I've had in the works for a while. Thanks so much for your visit! There and here!
As promised in my Simple Stories Guest Designer post, I have a coordinating layout you can create in a matter of minutes. 30, tops! All you need is this sheet of paper from the Simple Stories Hello Baby line.
Since this sheet is such a sweet design all on its own, all you have to do is add your own photos, a title, and a few accents to make it your own.
First, for the photos, you'll want to print 2x2 images. Using the Stitchfix app, I printed two 4x6 images containing my 1-12 photos.
I then cut those images out and was ready to rock and roll.
I simply added the images using basic adhesive.
I then added a few strips of washi tape, some letter stickers, a little machine stitching and an embellishment or two to create my title.
With that, the layout was done. See. Easy!
Want another super fast project? Make a mini album from the same sheet of paper. (Well, a new piece of the same design, that is.)
First, cut the rows out and score between each image frame to create your pages.
Next, adhere the rows together using strips of washi tape. Once you have your accordion-folded book ready, cut a 4x12 piece of paper to wrap around your booklet and act as a cover.
Insert a couple of brads to work as a closure.
And dress the book up with a few embellishments and some painted lettering to complete your design.
This is something the grandparents will love! A baby-sized book of your child's first year. And it takes very few supplies and very little time, which you'll love.
