Kawaii, like Hawaii with a K, in pronunciation, at least. This trend is influenced by Japanese art and it's super cute. No, really. "Kawaii" directly translates from Japanese to mean "cute." And that's just what it is. I'm discussing the ins and outs of this delightful trend today on Studio 5. Fun!
Take a look at some of the cuties I found while visiting Japantown in San Francisco last month.
Puffy Stickers
No huffing or puffing required. These cuties are fluffed up all on their own. And they're bitty, which makes them all the better!
Bento Boxes
These cute little containers make storing those tiny embellishments a happy experience.
Pens
One of my FAVORITE aspects of my Japantown experience was the pen parade. Beautiful writing instruments as far as the eye can see!
Yes, this was a delightful trip. And I couldn't have experienced it with better people. Thanks darling Allison Kreft and Lori Linford for joining me on my adventure!
